The Three Investigators’ skills were again tested when they had to investigate how a skull could actually talk to them. The boys bought an archaic box for one dollar from an auction and found Power, the talking skull, inside it. Later, they found out that many people were after the archaic box, including a magician by the name Mr. Mason. Mr. Mason offered to buy the box from the boys for one hundred dollars. After finding a letter from a robber known as Steven Long addressed to his former prisonmate, Alexander the Great Warrior and discovering that the archaic box brought danger to the owner of the box, they boys agreed to sell the box to Mr. Mason. Mr. Mason then got involved in a car accident because there was a group of criminals who wanted the archaic box. Did the Three Investigators succeed in solving this mystery?
